| FEATURED MEMBER CHRISTINNE REID Chris writes: As a practicing pastel artist, I strive to convey my personal vision of the world around me. Working primarily en plein air, I interpret the landscape through the lens of sensory experience--the sounds, the movement of the wind, and the interplay of juxtaposed colors. Each mark and stroke carries the influence of the moment, shaped by nature’s rhythm and my own artistic history. My goal is to create a visual statement that feels both authentic and inviting—one that resonates with the viewer and offers a shared, yet distinctly personal, visual experience.
